Bronx-born Marco Poloni (Costas Mandylor, Picket Fences) has developed a love of baking from his Italian family—and has never stopped dreaming of becoming a famous chef. All his mother Lina (Golden Globe and Emmy winner Brenda Vaccaro, Midnight Cowboy) wants for him is to quit reaching for the perfect pastry and settle down with Angela (Maria Bertrand, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind), a shy local girl looking for love. When Marco discovers that his Uncle Fab (David Proval, The Sopranos) is selling the family bakery to the owner of the Krazy Krunch Donuts chain, his dream seems more elusive than ever.
